Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is recalling nearly 1,700 model year 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivans in the U.S. and Canada because customers are complaining about diodes that fail and cause the minivans to stop moving.
Chrysler didn’t say what the diodes are related to other than a module that contains the diodes needs serviced.
FCA says that it has received no reports of injuries or accidents related to the issue.
The voluntary recall is for approximately 1,369 U.S. and 309 Canadian market examples of the plug-in hybrid minivan.
Owners can call the automaker at 800-853-1403 or visit safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
