The French plug-in car market was up 12% Year-on-Year, having registered 2,850 units last month. The Year-to-date registrations are up 26% to 5,549 units, with the market share close to 2%.
As usual, the Renault Zoe was the leader, this time with 1,565 units, up 24% regarding the same month last year, no doubt influenced by the 40 kWh battery version, representing 54% of all plug-in vehicle registrations this year.
On the YTD ranking there were no significant changes, with the Renault Zoe a distant first (3,211 units), followed by the Nissan Leaf (422) and the veteran Peugeot iOn (222).
As for the LCV (N1) market, sales this year are down 4% to 714 units, with the Renault Kangoo ZE in its usual leading position, with 261 units, followed by the Renault Zoe Van (96 registrations, up 75% YoY) and the Peugeot Partner EV (95).[source: EAFO]
