All major automakers are posting June sales numbers for plug-in electric vehicles.

Sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF totaled 1,096 units, down 47.2% compared to June of 2015 when Nissan sold 2,74 LEAF EV’s. In terms of year-to-date results in 2016, sales of the Nissan LEAF now stand at 5,793, which is down by 41% compared with 2015 when 9,816 were sold. Nissan introduced the 2016 all-electric LEAF with an available 30 kWh battery that provides an EPA-estimated range of 107 miles – a 27-percent increase over the previous 24 kWH battery.
2016 Chevrolet Volt sold 1,937 units last month, up 58.1 percent compared to June of 2015 when Chevy sold 1,225 Volts. Overall for the year, 9,808 Chevrolet Volt plug-ins have been sold, which is up by 74.5% compared to 2015 when 5,622 units were sold.
|Toyota Prius Plug-in |
Prius Plug-in Hybrid sold just 11 units last month. Previously in May, April, March and February, Toyota sold 4, 4, 7 and 6 Prius Plug-ins respectively. Last year, sales of the Prius Plug-in Hybrid were at 4,191. The next generation Prius Prime PHV will come in the second half of 2016 as a 2017 model car.

Ford C-MAX Energi sold 630 units in June. Previously in May, Ford sold 538 C-MAX Energi plug-ins. Overall for the year, 3,225 C-MAX Energi plug-in hybrids have been sold.

Ford Fusion Energi finished last month with 1,700 deliveries, after selling 1,453 in May and 1,331 in April. In terms of year-to-date results in 2016, sales of the Ford Fusion Energi now stand at 7,235.
|Cadillac ELR |
GM sold 94 Cadillac ELRs last month. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the Cadillac ELR now stand at 496, which is down by 16.4% compared with 2015 when 593 were sold. General Motors has pulled the plug on the Cadillac ELR after years of dismal sales. Cadillac only managed to sell 1,354 units of the ELR in 2014, while only 1,024 were delivered during last year.

Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrids finished last month with 22 deliveries. Previously in May and April, Panamera S E-Hybrid sold 26 and 25 units respectively. Overall for the year, 156 Panamera S E-Hybrids have been sold.

Porsche sold 176 Cayenne S E-Hybrid SUVs last month, after selling 191 units in May. In terms of year-to-date results in 2016, sales of the Cayenne S E-Hybrids now stand at 1,166.

Tesla Motors delivered 12,420 Model S vehicles, according to Q1 results.

The Tesla Model X is priced as high as $144,000. Tesla delivered 2400 Model X vehicles in the Q1 of 2016.

BMW i3 sold 608 units last month, after selling 696 units in May. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the BMW i3 now stand at 2,880. Last year, 11,024 BMW i3 EVs have been sold.

BMW i8 sold 169 plug-in hybrid sports cars last month. BMW sold 146 in May and 130 in April. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the BMW i8 now stand at 620. Last year, 2,265 BMW i8 sports cars have been sold. The BMW i8 has an MSRP of $135,700
|BMW X5 xDrive40e|
The BMW X5 xDrive40e sold 583 units, after selling 500 plug-in SUVs in May and 655 in April. Overall for the year, 2,577 BMW X5 xDrive40e SUVs have been sold. With a total system output of 230 kW/313 hp generated by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder gasoline engine and a synchronous electric motor, the BMW X5 xDrive40e achieves a combined fuel consumption of 69 – 71 mpg.
|Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive |
Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive finished last month with 44 deliveries, after selling 49 units in May and 56 units in April. The B-Class Electric Drive starts from $41,450 and has an all-electric range of 87 miles. For an extra $600, one can purchase the extended range package which allows the driver go 104 miles. Overall for the year, 310 B-Class Electric Drive have been sold.
|Mercedes-Benz S550 Plug-in Hybrid|
Mercedes-Benz S550 Plug-in Hybrid sold 4 copies last month. The S550 Plug-in Hybrid offers a system output of 436 hp and 479 lb-ft torque, sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.2 seconds and can drive up to 20 miles purely electrically.

Volkswagen e-Gold sold 248 units last month, after selling 269 in May. Overall for the year, 1,455 Volkswagen e-Golfs have been sold.
|Audi A3 Sportback e-tron|
Audi A3 Sportback e-tron sold 353 units during the month, after selling 361 units in May. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the A3 Sportback e-tron now stand at 1,942. The Audi A3 Sportback e-tron is priced at $37,900, and purchasing customers may qualify for applicable state and federal incentives and tax credits.
|Volvo XC90 T8 PHEV|
Volvo XC90 PHEV sold 166 units during the month, after selling 110 units in May and 150 units in April. Overall for the year, 1,006 XC90 PHEV SUVs have been sold. The MSRP of the Volvo XC90 T8 PHEV is $68,100 before incentives. Powered by Volvo’s 2.0 liter supercharged and turbocharged Drive-E engine and a rear axle electric motor, the XC90 T8 Twin Engine can achieve 394 horsepower and 0-60 MPH in just 5.7 seconds. The all-new BMW 330e sold 26 units during the month, after selling 67 units in may and 25 units in April. The BMW 330e features an electric motor and the BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine for a total system output of 248 HP. In everyday driving conditions, a total range of approximately 370 miles is attainable. The eDrive technology allows for approximately 22 miles in all-electric mode. The 2016 BMW 330e is priced at $44,695 including $995 destination & handling.
|Hyundai Sonata PHEV –|
Hyundai Sonata plug-in hybrid sold 225 units during the month. Previously in May, Sonata PHEV sold 235 units. Overall for the year, 1,150 Sonata plug-in hybrids have been sold, Hyundai Sonata PHEV is priced from $34,600 before incentives.
|Kia Soul EV |
Kia Soul EV sold 134 units last month, after selling 120 units in May. Overall for the year, 613 Soul EVs have been sold. Offered in two trims, Base and + (Plus), the 2015 Kia Soul EV MSRP is $33,700 (not including federal tax rebate of $7,500) for the Base trim.

Last month, smart fortwo ED sold 53 units last month, after selling 75 units in May and 66 units in April. Overall for the year, 366 smart fortwo EDs have been sold.

For May, Fiat 500e sold 480 units, after selling 405 units in May and 395 units in April. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the Fiat 500e now stand at 2,220.
|Chevrolet Spark EV|
Spark EV sold just 14 units, after selling 394 units in May and 419 in April. Overall for the year, 1,434 Chevrolet Spark EVs have been sold.

Ford Focus Electric sold 54. In terms of year-to-date, sales of the Focus Electric now stand at 446.

Mitsubishi sold 4 i-MiEV electric car in May, after selling 2 units in May, 6 units in April, 1 unit in March, 5 units in February and 2 units in January. Last year, 115 i-MiEV EVs have been sold. The 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV will arrive at Mitsubishi dealers across the United States in late March 2015. With a starting MSRP of only $22,995, the 2016 i-MiEV is the most affordably-priced electric vehicle available in America today, and after factoring in the Federal tax credit of $7,500, the net starting MSRP is reduced to $15,495.
