All major automakers are posting September sales numbers for plug-in electric vehicles.

 | Nissan LEAF Sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF totaled 1,238 units, down 52.2% compared to October of 2014 when Nissan sold 2,589 LEAF EV’s. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Nissan LEAF now stand at 14,868, which is down by 39.1% compared with 2014 when 24,411 were sold.Nissan introduced the 2016 all-electric LEAF with an available 30 kWh battery that provides an EPA-estimated range of 107 miles – a 27-percent increase over the previous 24 kWH battery. |
 | Chevrolet Volt Chevrolet Volt sold 2,035 units last month. Overall for the year, 11,299 Chevrolet Volt plug-ins have been sold, which is down by 36% compared to 2014 when 14,540 units were sold. Total U.S. Volt deliveries are now 84,656, while total LEAF deliveries stand at 87,190 units. |
 | Toyota Prius Plug-in Prius Plug-in Hybrid sold just 91 units last month. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Prius Plug-in Hybrid now stand at 4,125. The next generation Prius PHV will come in the second half of 2016 as a 2017 model car. |
 | Ford C-Max Energi Ford C-MAX Energi sold 695 units in September. Previously in September, Ford sold 719 plug-ins. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Ford C-Max Energi now stand at 6,373. |
 | Ford Fusion Energi Ford Fusion Energi finished last month with 849 deliveries, after selling 808 units in September. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Ford Fusion Energi now stand at 7,748. |
 | Cadillac ELR GM sold just 82 Cadillac ELRs last month. Previously in September, Cadillac sold 36 ELRs. In terms of year-to-date results in, sales of the Cadillac ELR now stand at 822. The 2014 Cadillac ELR has a starting price of $75,995, including a $995 destination charge but excluding tax, title, license and dealer fees. |
 | Porsche Panamera S-E Hybrid Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrids finished last month with 28 deliveries. Previously in September, Panamera S E-Hybrid sold 41 units. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Panamera S E-Hybrid now stand at 358. |
 | Porsche Cayenne S e-Hybrid Porsche sold 126 Cayenne S E-Hybrid SUVs last month, after selling 70 units in September. The Cayenne S Hybrid has a lithium-ion traction battery with an energy capacity of 10.8 kWh, which enables an all-electric driving range of 11 to 22 miles, combined fuel consumption is 39 mpg US with 79 g/km of CO2. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Cayenne S E-Hybrid now stand at 846. |

 | BMW i8 BMW i8 sold 149 plug-in hybrid sports cars last month. BMW sold 182 in September. Overall for the year, 1,491 BMW i8 sports cars have been sold. BMW delivered the first plug-in hybrid BMW i8 sport cars at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and auctioned One-of-a-kind BMW i8 Concours d’Elegance Edition for $825,000. The BMW i8 has an MSRP of $135,700 |

With a total system output of 230 kW/313 hp generated by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder gasoline engine and a synchronous electric motor, the BMW X5 xDrive40e achieves a combined fuel consumption of 69 – 71 mpg. The X5 xDrive is priced from $63,095 including $995 D&H. |
 | Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive finished last month with 81 deliveries, after selling 147 units in September. The B-Class Electric Drive starts from $41,450 and has an all-electric range of 87 miles. For an extra $600, one can purchase the extended range package which allows the driver go 104 miles. Overall for the year, 1,768 B-Class Electric Drive have been sold. |
 | Mercedes-Benz S550 Plug-in Hybrid Mercedes-Benz S550 Plug-in Hybrid sold 25 units in its third month on the market. The S550 Plug-in Hybrid also sold 17 copies in September, and 10 units in August and in July, its debut month.The Mercedes-Benz S550 Plug-in Hybrid offers a system output of 436 hp and 479 lb-ft torque, sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.2 seconds and can drive up to 20 miles purely electrically. |
 | Volkswagen e-Golf Volkswagen e-Gold sold record 596 units last month, after selling 343 units in September. Overall for the year, 3,151 VW e-Golf EVs have been sold. The all-electric 2015 Volkswagen e-Golf is on sale at participating dealerships in select states. The e-Golf was rated by the EPA at126 city, 105 highway, and 116 combined MPGe and given a range of up to 83 miles. |
 | Kia Soul EV Kia Soul EV sold 109 units last month, after selling 105 units in September. Overall for the year, 836 Soul EVs have been sold. Offered in two trims, Base and + (Plus), the 2015 Kia Soul EV MSRP is $33,700 (not including federal tax rebate of $7,500) for the Base trim. Overall for the year, 529 Soul EVs have been sold. |

 | Fiat 500e For September, Fiat 500e sold 425 units. Overall for the year, 5,539 Fiat 500e EVs have been sold. The Fiat 500e is priced at $32,500, which includes a $700 destination charge. However, eligible California residents may be able to purchase the Fiat 500e for as low as $20,500, after federal credits. |

 | Ford Focus Electric Deliveries of the Ford Focus Electric were 126 in October. In September and August, Ford sold 145 and 176 Focus Electrics respectively. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Ford Focus Electric now stand at 1,393. |
 | Mitsubishi i Mitsubishi sold 9 i-MiEV electric cars in October, after selling 3 units in Seotember and 6 units in August. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Mitsubishi i-MiEV now stand at 102. The 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV will arrive at Mitsubishi dealers across the United States in late March 2015. With a starting MSRP of only $22,995, the 2016 i-MiEV is the most affordably-priced electric vehicle available in America today, and after factoring in the Federal tax credit of $7,500, the net starting MSRP is reduced to $15,495. |
