30 kWh Nissan LEAF Featured In Fully Charged Show

It’s time for the 30 kWh Nissan LEAF to be reviewed in the Fully Charged Show.

“A wonderful drive up a mountain in the South of France in the newly released 30kWh Nissan LEAF. No question, it’s a big improvement in terms of range and driver interface. A bigger battery that’s not physically bigger, just 25% more energy dense.”

Unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and due to go on sale in Europe in January 2016, the  30kWh Nissan LEAF is able to travel up to 26 percent further than the original 24kWh unit, thanks to significant performance updates. This increased range of up to 250 km makes it a practical EV solution for 98 percent of family hatchback drivers’ needs.

Production of the 30kWh Nissan LEAF will continue at Nissan’s Sunderland UK factory, with European sales starting in January 2016. Final prices and specifications for individual markets will be announced shortly.
