Kia has released the second teaser image of its Kia Trail’ster concept which will be revealed at the Chicago Auto Show later this month.
This Trail’ster concept off-roader was conceived by Kia’s California design studio and built for city dwellers seeking the ultimate urban escape.
Kia describes the concept as a “uniquely compelling vehicle for the city dweller turned outdoor adventurer.” The Trail’ster concept features a fully retractable canvas roof and a rear-mounted electric all-wheel drive system. A “bold design” has also been promised, with these pictures depicting more rugged, off-road-inspired styling.
Although billed as a concept, the Trail’ster is very likely to make production, slotting in as a new model in the Soul EV range.
The e-AWD concept will be unveiled on Thursday, February 12, at the Chicago Auto Show.
