Mitsubishi at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show

Mitsubishi-Concepts-Geneva-Motor-ShowMitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) will unveil three concept vehicles at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Incorporating a new design identity that symbolizes the sense of security and functionality of an SUV, the XR-PHEV, GC-PHEV and AR concepts highlight Mitsubishi innovative engineering, MMC’s next-generation advanced technologies that embody the concepts of environmental responsibility, driving pleasure, toughness and safety.

“With a clear emphasis on design, driving performance and low environmental impact, MMC will display its three latest concept cars – an ‘augmented reality” interpretation of things to come short to mid-term,” Mitsubishi said in a press release.

The XR-PHEV, GC-PHEV and AR concepts were all displayed at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.

Mitsubishi GC-PHEV Concept

MMC’s S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) integrated vehicle dynamic control system delivers superior handling, stability as well as the all-terrain capability an SUV offers. The Mitsubishi GC-PHEV Concept is a “connected car” that also offers next-generation preventive safety technology and driver support technology through wireless connectivity.

Mitsubishi XR-PHEV Concept

Mitsubishi-XR-PHEVThe Mitsubishi XR-PHEV Concept is a next-generation compact SUV loaded with a lightweight and highly efficient PHEV system with dramatically enhanced environmental performance. The Mitsubishi XR-PHEV Concept offers nimble drivability and a body style resembling a sport coupe.

Mitsubishi AR Concept
Mitsubishi-ARThe Mitsubishi AR Concept is a next-generation compact MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) that offers both the mobility of an SUV and the occupant space of an MPV. The latest fuel efficiency technologies adopted in the Mitsubishi AR Concept include the use of a down-sized direct-injection turbocharged engine. The Mitsubishi AR Concept provides a relaxing space for occupants through its enveloping interior design and a range of seat arrangements that provide comfort for all passengers.
