GOVECS Scoops European e-Scooter of the Year Award

GOVECS GmbH, Germany’s leading supplier of innovative electric scooters, has won the “European e-Scooter of the Year” Award.

With its GO! S2.4 model, the company beat off strong competition in the under 25 km/h category, while the other first place was achieved in the highly competitive 45 km/h category with the GO! T2.4 cargo electric scooter.

To add to their achievements, GOVECS also went on to win second place in both these categories with their GO! S1.2 and GO! S2.4 models. What impressed the judges most about these scooters was the high quality of the products, their impressive range and reliability. Outstanding feature of the GO! T2.4: the transport solution. The models of this line were developed particularly for use in companies and by traders and are available with 50-170 liter cargo boxes.

The international award was presented as part of Clean Week 2020 and organised in cooperation with the international Federation of European Motorcyclists’ Associations (FEMA).

The international competition was judged by a distinguished panel of 13 motorcycling journalists from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Scandinavia, the UK, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. The vehicles were judged against a number of different criteria, including quality and fuel consumption, with a particular emphasis on emissions and noise output. Other factors taken into account included design, range, charging time and driving performance. Judges were also interested in the comfort, handling and market availability of the various vehicles.

The “Clean Week 2020” e-Scooter Award was awarded in the following categories: vehicles with speeds of less than 25 km/h, those with speeds of less than 45 km/h (the most common) and vehicles with speeds in excess of 45 km/h. The 25km/h category, extremely important in the Netherlands, was won by GOVECS with its GO! S2.4 model. The company also achieved first place in the highly competitive and important 45 km/h category with its new and innovative GO! T2.4 cargo scooter. To round off their achievements, GOVECS also won second place in both categories with its GO! S1.2 and GO! S2.4 models.

Last year was also a successful one for GOVECS – having won the “European e-Scooter of the Year” Award in the 45 km/h category with their GO! S2.4 model. Judges were particularly impressed by the high quality of the GOVECS electric scooters, their attractive design and their impressive range of approx.100 km.[wzslider height=”400″ lightbox=”true”]
