Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT: UK Prices, Range and Performance Revealed

Kia has announced UK pricing and specifications for the new EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT, expanding its electric vehicle lineup with three performance-focused models. Combining dual-motor all-wheel drive, sportier styling and advanced driving technology, the new GT variants aim to deliver a more engaging driving experience without sacrificing everyday practicality.

The three models are Kia’s first GT variants based on the brand’s 400-volt Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). Prices start at £48,695 for the EV3 GT, £49,345 for the EV4 GT and £54,295 for the EV5 GT, with customer deliveries expected throughout the remainder of 2026.

The new electric GT lineup covers three distinct segments, from a compact electric crossover to a family hatchback and a larger electric SUV.

Kia’s GT story began in 2011 with the GT Concept, a rear-wheel-drive sports saloon that helped establish the direction for future performance-oriented models. The concept inspired the Stinger, while the Cee’d GT and Pro_Cee’d GT entered production in 2013, bringing sportier performance and distinctive styling to European customers.

The brand continued developing its GT identity with the Ceed GT, Proceed GT and Stinger GT before entering the electric performance segment with the EV6 GT in 2022. The EV6 GT demonstrated how electric powertrains could deliver high performance alongside technologies designed to increase driver engagement.

The EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT extend that approach to more accessible and practical electric vehicles. With GT versions now available across the EV3, EV4, EV5, EV6 and EV9 ranges, Kia is expanding its performance-focused electric offerings across several vehicle categories.

What Do the Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT Have in Common?

All three new models feature an 81.4kWh battery, five-seat interiors and dual-motor all-wheel drive. They also receive exclusive GT styling, neon interior and exterior accents, GT-specific alloy wheels and semi-bucket sport seats.

Kia has equipped the vehicles with several performance technologies, including a six-speed Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) system, Active Sound Design, launch control and a performance timer. Drivers can also select dedicated GT driving modes or configure their own settings through MyDrive.

The Virtual Gear Shift system simulates the operation of a six-speed automatic gearbox. Steering-wheel-mounted paddles allow drivers to move between simulated gears, accompanied by coordinated visual, audible and tactile feedback.

The system is designed to make acceleration more interactive while allowing drivers to hold a simulated gear through corners or select a lower gear when additional power is needed. It also works with variable regenerative braking to provide simulated engine braking when slowing down.

Active Sound Design complements the system with adjustable simulated engine sounds. Drivers can also activate a simulated automatic shifting mode, while manual operation allows the system to reproduce the feel of reaching a rev limiter.

Other shared technologies include Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS) with a road preview system and Electronic Dynamic Torque Vectoring (EDTV). These systems are intended to improve body control, traction and cornering stability.

Kia EV4 GT: An Electric Hot Hatch With 288bhp

The Kia EV4 GT is positioned as a sportier version of the brand’s five-seat electric family hatchback. Designed, engineered and manufactured in Europe for European customers, it retains the standard EV4’s everyday usability while adding a more performance-oriented powertrain and chassis setup.

Unlike electric performance cars focused primarily on straight-line acceleration, the EV4 GT is designed to emphasise responsiveness, precision and driver engagement. Its front-biased all-wheel-drive configuration is intended to maintain a familiar and comfortable character during everyday driving.

The EV4 GT produces 288bhp and 468Nm of torque from its dual-motor powertrain. A 145kW front motor delivers 283Nm, while a 70kW rear motor contributes 185Nm.

This setup allows the electric hatchback to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 5.6 seconds. Kia also quotes a 3.9-second time for acceleration from 50 to 75mph, highlighting its ability to deliver power during overtaking manoeuvres.

The front motor can adjust its operation according to driver inputs and the selected driving mode, balancing efficiency and performance. MyDrive also allows adjustments to the powertrain and suspension characteristics.

Kia EV4 GT Range and Charging

The EV4 GT uses an 81.4kWh lithium-ion polymer battery with nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) chemistry. Its official WLTP combined range reaches up to 313 miles on a full charge.

Built on Kia’s 400V platform, the EV4 GT supports DC charging at up to 128kW. Using a 150kW DC fast charger, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 31 minutes. Charging the same amount on a 50kW DC charger takes around 79 minutes.

An 11kW AC charger can replenish the battery from 10% to 100% in approximately seven hours and 15 minutes.

The EV4 GT has an electronically limited top speed of 105mph, a decision Kia says helps balance performance with usable driving range.

The Kia EV4 GT costs £49,345 on the road in the UK. It is offered in a single, highly equipped trim level, with buyers choosing their preferred paint finish. White is the standard colour, while other premium paint options cost an additional £650.

Kia EV3 GT: Up to 334 Miles of Range

The Kia EV3 GT brings the brand’s performance treatment to its compact electric crossover. The standard EV3 has been a key model in Kia’s UK electric vehicle lineup since its arrival at the end of 2024, and the new GT version adds greater performance while retaining the crossover’s everyday practicality.

Under the skin, the EV3 GT shares its battery, power output, torque and maximum speed with the EV4 GT. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system produces 288bhp and 468Nm of torque.

The slightly heavier EV3 GT accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 5.7 seconds, just 0.1 seconds slower than the EV4 GT.

Its main advantage is range. Kia quotes a WLTP combined figure of up to 334 miles, making the EV3 GT the longest-range model among the three new electric GT variants.

The EV3 GT also shares the EV4 GT’s maximum DC charging rate of 128kW and its quoted charging times. This gives buyers a combination of stronger performance, all-wheel-drive traction and a competitive official range for a sporty compact electric crossover.

Kia describes the EV3 GT’s driving character as responsive and agile, with an emphasis on confident handling in urban environments, on country roads and during longer journeys.

UK pricing starts at £48,695 on the road. As with the EV4 GT, the EV3 GT comes in a single, highly equipped trim level. White paint is standard, while premium finishes cost an additional £650. Lithium Silver Matt carries a £1,500 surcharge.

Kia EV5 GT: A Performance Electric SUV for Families

The Kia EV5 GT is the largest of the three new 400V GT models, bringing the performance-focused treatment to the family electric SUV segment.

Rather than prioritising outright speed alone, the EV5 GT combines all-wheel-drive traction and stronger performance with passenger comfort, interior space and versatility. Its setup is intended to suit daily commuting, longer trips and a wider variety of road conditions.

The EV5 GT also includes Pet Mode, which helps maintain a comfortable cabin temperature when a pet is briefly left inside the vehicle.

Its larger size and greater weight are reflected in a more powerful dual-motor system. The EV5 GT produces 301bhp and 480Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 6.2 seconds.

Despite its larger SUV body and higher power output, the model offers a claimed WLTP combined range of up to 295 miles.

The EV5 GT is priced from £54,295 on the road in the UK. Buyers can select from available paint finishes, with white included as standard and premium paint options costing an additional £675. Lithium Silver Matt costs £1,500 extra.

Warranty and UK Availability

The new Kia EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT are covered by Kia’s seven-year, 100,000-mile vehicle warranty. The high-voltage battery pack also receives an eight-year warranty.

With UK prices and specifications confirmed, orders are now open. Kia expects customer deliveries to take place throughout the remainder of 2026.

The three models expand the choice for drivers looking for an electric vehicle that combines everyday usability with a more engaging driving experience. By offering GT versions across a compact crossover, a family hatchback and a larger SUV, Kia is bringing its electric performance technology to a wider range of customers.
