Citroen UK expands e-Berlingo line-up with new Flair XTR XL seven-seat model

Citroen UK has expanded its e-Berlingo Electric line-up, combining the top-of-the range ‘Flair XTR’ trim with the larger XL body offering seven seats. The new ‘Flair XTR’ XL version provides e-Berlingo Electric with an extra 35cm of body length and meets the needs of customers looking for additional seating capacity, as well as increased practicality and versatility.

Earlier this month Citroen announced that the Berlingo MPV is now exclusively available with all-electric power, closing its order books for petrol and Diesel versions. The new e-Berlingo Electric is built with a 100kW electric motor and 50kWh Lithium-ion battery pack offering a WLTP range of up to 174 miles. Importantly, all e-Berlingo Electric models can be recharged up to 80% in 30 minutes at a public rapid charging station (up to 100kW), and in 7½ hours via a 7kW single-phase 32A wallbox. Every journey in the new Citroen e-Berlingo Electric becomes a relaxing experience for everyone on-board, offering a smooth and serene drive.

The introduction of the new Citroen e-Berlingo ‘Flair XTR’ XL allows customers to enjoy the additional comfort, styling and technical features of ‘Flair XTR’ trim level, but with the added practicality of the XL body length – with seven seats, 500-litres more load space with the rear seats folded, and a load length of more than three metres.
As standard, ‘Flair XTR’ trim enjoys signature Airbump exterior styling, an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, DAB radio, plus Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. All versions also come with a range of safety and driver assistance systems as part of the Citroen’s Safety Pack. This includes Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Safety Brake, Cruise Control and Speed Limiter, Speed Limit Recognition and Recommendation, and Driver Attention Alert.

‘Flair XTR’ models also enjoy a 10-inch fully digital driver’s instrument display, remote temperature pre-conditioning, an Electrochrome rear view mirror, Citroen Connect Nav, reversing camera, Intelligent Beam Headlights, opening tailgate window and dual zone climate control.

To ensure the new ‘Flair XTR’ model stands out it, it gains 17-inch ‘Spin’ alloy wheels, gloss black roof bars, as well as front and rear scuff-plates. There are also other stylistic cues that set the ‘Flair XTR’ apart, with orange fog light surrounds, ‘XTR’ badging and a ‘Resada Green’ interior ambience.
