Skoda is preparing to elevate its electric lineup with the all-new Skoda Peaq, a flagship seven-seat SUV set to launch in mid-2026. Based on the Vision 7S concept, the Peaq sits at the top of the brand’s EV range and plays a central role in expanding Skoda’s electric portfolio.
Built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform and produced in Mladá Boleslav, the Peaq combines long-range capability, spacious practicality, and advanced in-car technology—positioning it as a strong contender in the large electric SUV segment.
Largest and Most Spacious Skoda Yet
Measuring nearly 4.9 meters in length with a 2,965 mm wheelbase, the Peaq becomes the largest model ever produced by Skoda. The generous dimensions translate into a true seven-seat layout with ample legroom across all three rows, including a notably usable third row.
Cargo capacity is equally impressive. The boot offers up to 299 liters with all seats in place and expands to 890 liters with the third row folded. A 37-liter front trunk (frunk) adds extra practicality for smaller items.
Modern Solid Design and Advanced Lighting
The Peaq introduces the most evolved version of Skoda’s “Modern Solid” design language. Key highlights include a distinctive Tech-Deck Face front panel with illuminated vertical slats and a bold, aerodynamic stance.
Full LED Matrix headlights with 18 segments ensure optimal visibility without dazzling other road users. Buyers can choose from alloy wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches and a palette of ten exterior colors.
Premium Interior With Sustainable Materials
Inside, the Peaq offers five interior themes, including a Sportline variant and high-end Suite options featuring Techtona—a premium leather alternative. Several configurations are animal-free and incorporate over 50 kg of recycled materials.
Standard features include ambient lighting and a heated multifunction steering wheel, while higher trims add refined upholstery combinations and enhanced finishes.
Relax Package and Sonos Premium Audio
A standout feature is the optional Relax Package, designed to transform the cabin into a mobile lounge. It includes AGR-certified seats with massage functions, adjustable leg rests, pillows, and a foldable table.
An integrated wellness app offers multiple modes such as relaxation and re-energizing, automatically adjusting climate, lighting, and seat settings.
For audio, Skoda partners with Sonos to deliver a premium sound system with immersive 3D acoustics and balanced sound reproduction—marking a first for the brand.
Powertrains, Performance and Charging
The Peaq will be available in three variants:
– 60 – entry-level option
– 90 – extended range model
– 90x – all-wheel-drive performance version
Power outputs range from 150 kW to 220 kW. The 90 and 90x variants deliver over 600 km of range, while DC fast charging from 10% to 80% takes approximately 28 minutes (27 minutes for the 60 version).
The dual-motor 90x accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, combining efficiency with strong performance.
Tech-Forward Features and Connectivity
The Peaq introduces a new Android-based infotainment system with a large 13.6-inch vertical touchscreen and a 10-inch digital driver display. Popular apps such as Spotify, YouTube, and Google Maps are integrated.
A digital mobile key allows access via smartphone or smartwatch, while an optional augmented reality head-up display enhances driver awareness.
Panoramic Roof and Smart Innovations
A segment highlight is the largest panoramic roof ever fitted to a Skoda, featuring Dynamic Shade Control. The electrochromic glass is divided into nine segments, allowing customizable light levels.
Additional innovations include:
– Flush door handles for improved aerodynamics
– Integrated washer system in wiper blades
– Dual wireless phone charging (up to 25W)
– USB ports in all rows, including the third row
– QR code in the boot linking to storage tutorials
Vehicle-to-Load and Bidirectional Charging
The Peaq supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), enabling the battery to power external devices such as e-bikes or camping equipment.
It also introduces Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) functionality via the Ambibox DC Wallbox, allowing the vehicle to supply energy to a home or business—adding real-world energy flexibility.
Sportline Variant Adds a Dynamic Edge
For buyers seeking a sportier look, the Peaq Sportline features black exterior accents, larger wheels, and a more aggressive design. Inside, it adds sports seats with enhanced support, aluminum pedals, and a three-spoke steering wheel.
A New Benchmark for Skoda EVs
With its combination of long range, seven-seat practicality, premium comfort, and advanced technology, the Skoda Peaq sets a new benchmark for the brand’s electric ambitions. As a flagship model, it not only expands the lineup but also reinforces Skoda’s focus on delivering value-driven, family-friendly electric mobility at scale.
