Porsche Expands Plug & Charge Access to Tesla Superchargers

Porsche is making electric driving even easier. Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) has announced that Plug & Charge functionality is now available for all Macan Electric models and 2026 Taycan vehicles on the Tesla Supercharger network through Porsche Charging Service.

With this integration, Porsche EV drivers gain access to more than 27,500 Tesla Superchargers across North America.

Charging is faster, simpler, and fully seamless—drivers can just plug in and charge, with secure authentication and payment handled automatically through Porsche Charging Service.

There’s no need to open an app, swipe a credit card, or manage multiple accounts. As a result, Macan Electric and 2026 Taycan owners can spend less time waiting and more time driving, making long-distance travel significantly more convenient.

Over the past year, Porsche has continued to expand its charging ecosystem to offer greater flexibility for EV customers. Beyond Plug & Charge access at Tesla Superchargers, Porsche Charging Service now includes ChargePoint roaming, software updates for Taycan and Macan Electric models, and complimentary NACS-to-CCS DC adapters—all designed to simplify road trips and everyday charging.

Porsche Charging Service also supports Plug & Charge at Electrify America stations, giving drivers even more options when charging on the go. Looking ahead, this Plug & Charge functionality will also be available for the upcoming Cayenne Electric when it launches in the U.S. later this year.

“Expanding Plug & Charge availability to more than 27,000 additional charging stations simplifies the charging process and enhances ease of use,” said Timo Resch, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America. “It’s an important milestone in delivering a seamless electric vehicle experience.”
