
Chinese premium electric vehicle makers, NIO, Zeekr and Li Auto announced their electric vehicle delivery numbers for the month of May.
NIO delivered 23,231 vehicles in May 2025, representing an increase of 13.1% year-over-year. The deliveries consisted of 13,270 vehicles from the company’s premium smart electric vehicle brand NIO, 6,281 vehicles from the company’s family-oriented smart electric vehicle brand ONVO, and 3,680 vehicles from the company,s small smart high-end electric car brand FIREFLY. Cumulative deliveries reached 760,789 as of May 31, 2025.
Meanwhile, Zeekr Group delivered a total of 46,538 vehicles across its Zeekr and Lynk & Co brands, reflecting a 15.2% year-over-year growth and 12.6% increase compared to the previous month. The Zeekr brand delivered 18,908 vehicles in May, up 1.57 percent year-on-year and up 37.74 percent month-on-month. Lynk & Co delivered 27,630 vehicles in May, up 26.87 percent year-on-year and 0.15 percent month-on-month.
The Zeekr brand delivered 74,038 vehicles from January to May, up 9.26 percent year-on-year. Lynk & Co delivered 127,827 vehicles during the same period, up 25.86 percent year-on-year.
Li Auto delivered 40,856 vehicles in May 2025, representing a year-over-year increase of 16.7%. As of May 31, 2025, Li Auto’s cumulative deliveries reached 1,301,531.
The company expects to complete the deployment of its 2,500th super charging station in June, setting the stage for the planned launch of its first battery electric SUV, Li i8, in July.
As of May 31, 2025, the Li Auto had 506 retail stores in 152 cities, 502 servicing centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops operating in 222 cities. The company also had 2,414 super charging stations in operation equipped with 13,195 charging stalls in China.
