2026 Kia EV9 pricing announced

Kia America has announced pricing for the award-winning all-electric 2026 Kia EV9 three-row EV SUV.

The EV9 largely carries over into its third model year, but still delivers meaningful changes, including the addition of the Nightfall Edition package on the Land AWD trim.

The EV9 Nightfall Edition features exclusive 20-inch gloss black wheels, black badging, gloss black trim and exterior details, as well as unique interior design elements. It is offered in 6-passenger and 7-passenger seating configurations as a no-cost option.

For the 2026 model year, Kia is making its EV9 electric SUV more appealing with price reductions on some trims and improved range across the board. The EV9 continues to qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit.

The base Kia EV9 Light SR maintains its price of $56,395 (including a $1,495 destination charge). This rear-wheel-drive model features a 215-horsepower motor, a 76.1 kWh battery, and an EPA estimated range of 230 miles.

The EV9 Light LR, with its larger 99.8 kWh battery, sees a $2,000 price drop to $59,395. It now boasts an improved estimated range of 305 miles, a one-mile increase over the 2025 model. This change significantly narrows the price gap between the standard-range and long-range models, making the latter a much more attractive option.

The all-wheel-drive EV9 Wind AWD remains priced at $65,395. This trim offers 379 horsepower, a 0-60 mph time of five seconds, and comes equipped with a third row of seats, a dual sunroof, LED lighting, heated, ventilated, and powered front seats, among other features.

The more premium EV9 Land AWD trim, which includes all available options as standard, is now $1,000 cheaper at $70,395. Both the Wind AWD and Land AWD models receive a three-mile range boost for 2026, now rated at 283 miles.

The current top-tier EV9 GT-Line also sees a $2,000 price reduction, bringing its cost down from $75,395 to $73,395. While it shares the same power output as other AWD variants, a boost mode temporarily increases its torque from 443 to 516 lb-ft, resulting in a quicker 0-60 mph sprint time of 4.5 seconds. The GT-Line also gets a substantial 10-mile range increase, now rated at 280 miles.

Kia has not yet released pricing for the high-performance EV9 GT, which is expected to offer over 500 horsepower, larger brakes, and a stiffer suspension. It is anticipated to arrive in “late 2025” with a likely price tag exceeding $80,000.

A notable change for the 2026 EV9 is the adoption of a native NACS charging plug, replacing the current model’s CCS connector.
