The Refreshed 2025 Kia EV6: Design, Tech, and Price Detailed

Kia America has announced the pricing structure for the 2025 EV6. The 2025 Kia EV6 new model year introduces significant enhancements to the award-winning electric crossover, featuring redesigned front and rear aesthetics, a more refined interior, and thoughtfully reorganized trim levels that incorporate a wealth of newly standard features and amenities.

Building upon the success of its predecessor, the 2025 EV6 elevates the standard once again, presenting a compelling fusion of style, innovation, and performance for today’s electric vehicle consumer.

The 2025 EV6 (excluding the GT model) is now assembled at Kia’s manufacturing facility in West Point, Georgia.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices (MSRP), excluding a $1,475 destination charge, are as follows for the 2025 EV6 lineup:

  • EV6 Light: $42,900
  • EV6 Light Long Range RWD: $46,200
  • EV6 Light Long Range AWD: $50,300
  • EV6 Wind: $50,300
  • EV6 GT-Line: $54,200
  • EV6 Wind AWD: $54,300
  • EV6 GT-Line AWD: $58,900
  • EV6 GT: $63,800

Several key updates define the 2025 EV6:

Design:

  • The implementation of Signature Star Map lighting on standard full projection LED headlights and daytime running lights creates a sophisticated and technologically advanced appearance, lending the vehicle a wider and more dynamic stance.
  • Front bumpers now feature sharper angles, complemented by distinct character lines on the hood, adding both contrast and depth to the overall front-end design.
  • The rear design incorporates three-dimensional taillights with the Star Map design language and a visually wider rear bumper.
  • Sharply angled side sill molding on the front and rear cladding enhances the EV6’s profile and road presence.
  • New wheel designs further contribute to the refreshed aesthetic.

Battery Capacity, Range, and Charging:

  • The entry-level Light trim now features a larger 63.0 kWh standard battery pack.
  • Light Long-Range trims benefit from a larger 84.0 kWh standard battery pack, offering a Kia-estimated range of 319 miles in rear-wheel drive configurations.
  • The charging experience is improved with the charging port’s relocation to the left rear fender, simplifying parking at charging stations (excluding the EV6 GT).
  • The 2025 EV6 adopts the North American Charging Standard (NACS) for increased compatibility with charging infrastructure.

Technology and Convenience:

  • A standard dual 12.3-inch display setup integrates the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen into a seamless interface.
  • An optional “Tech Package,” available on Light Long-Range configurations, includes advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) features such as Surround View Monitor, Parking Distance Warning – Side (in addition to standard front & rear sensors), Blind-Spot View Monitor, and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist – Reverse.
  • Kia’s next-generation Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system offers over-the-air (OTA) updates, streaming capabilities, gaming, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
  • Standard automatic pop-out exterior door handles enhance the vehicle’s sleek design and user experience.

EV6 GT:

  • The high-performance EV6 GT continues to deliver a standard 601 horsepower, with the ability to reach up to 641 horsepower in GT mode for a significant surge in performance.
  • A Virtual Gear Shift system simulates traditional gear changes through visual cues, engine sound effects, and tactile feedback via motor torque adjustments.
