Hyundai IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 can now get free ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV Charger

Hyundai announced the expansion of its complimentary home charger and charging credit offers to the 2025 IONIQ 6, 2024 IONIQ 6, and 2024 IONIQ 5 models.

Customers who purchase or lease any new 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6, 2024 IONIQ 6 or 2024 IONIQ 5 model beginning March 1, 2025, are eligible for their choice of a ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger or a $400 charging credit. Hyundai will provide the charger through its Hyundai Home Marketplace which will also assist customers with scheduling professional installation.

Paid installation through Hyundai Home is required to receive EV charger. Customers who opt for the $400 ChargePoint charge credit can use it through the ChargePoint mobile app.

New 2025 IONIQ 5 N and 2025 IONIQ 5 customers already have access to similar offers.

Whether you need a home charger or prefer a $400 public charging credit, we’ve got you. You come home, charge your phone and watch, and now effortlessly charge your vehicle.”

Customers who purchase or lease a new 2025 IONIQ 6, 2024 IONIQ 6, or 2024 IONIQ 5 model beginning March 1, 2025, have 60 days from the date of purchase or lease inception to select a complimentary ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV Charger or opt for a $400 ChargePoint out-of-home charging credit. Paid installation through Hyundai Home is required to receive EV charger.⁠⁠

To take advantage of this offer, customers need to create a profile on the Hyundai Home Marketplace.

Complimentary Home Charger Redemption Instructions

– Qualifying customers can select the home charger offer by clicking “Find Offer” at the bottom of the landing page, creating a profile, entering certain vehicle-specific information, their zip code, and selecting the home charger option.

– After choosing the offer, customers will be presented with a brief overview of the steps required for installation.

– Customers will receive an email from Hyundai Home partner Electrum within approximately 5 business days that includes a coupon code.

– In the interim, customers can get started with their installation project by answering questions and uploading photos of their home and planned charger location.

– Hardwired installation through Hyundai Home and its network of service providers is required. Installation costs, as well as any taxes and fees, are not included in this complimentary charger offer.

– Hyundai Home Energy Advisors are available to answer questions and guide customers through the installation process.

– Customers have 60 days from the date of vehicle purchase/lease inception to redeem their code for a charger and 120 days from the date of purchase/lease to complete hardwired installation.

ChargePoint Credit

– Qualifying customers who wish to select the $400 ChargePoint network credit are invited to visit Hyundai Home Marketplace to redeem their out-of-home charging credit by clicking “Find Offer” at the bottom of the page. They will then be asked to create a profile, enter certain vehicle-specific information and their zip code, and then select the out-of-home charging credit option.

– After selecting the offer, customers will be presented with a brief overview explaining how to redeem the charging credit on ChargePoint’s website or the ChargePoint mobile app.

– Customers will receive an email from Hyundai Home partner Electrum within approximately 5 business days that includes a coupon code.

– In the interim, customers can set up a ChargePoint account if they do not already have one.

– Once the coupon code is received, customers need to login to their ChargePoint account and then apply the code.

– Customers opting for the charging credit can access their complimentary charging via the ChargePoint mobile app, which will also help them find and navigate to charging stations and initiate a charging session on multiple participating charging networks.

– Customers must redeem their $400 out-of-home charging credit code within 60 days of purchase/lease of their vehicle. They will have two years from the date of redemption to use the credit. Any remaining amount will be forfeited after two years.
