ZEEKR selects 50five as its home charging partner in the Netherlands

Geely Holding Group’s electric mobility technology brand ZEEKR is partnering with home charging experts 50five to offer wallbox installations in the Netherlands. With a proven record of technical expertise and first-rate customer service, 50five has been selected to provide end-to-end charging solutions for both private and fleet customers.

As a key pillar of ZEEKR’s customer-focused approach, the all-electric brand is committed to making charging a seamless experience for its customers. The ZEEKR Power offering is designed to do exactly that and is particularly beneficial to those making the switch to electric vehicles for the first time – as more than half of ZEEKR’s customers are doing.

Through 50five’s team of experts, the home or workplace is first assessed for suitability in terms of the electricity supply and proposed location of the wallbox, followed by the installation of the wallbox, commissioning, and maintenance. To date, 50five has completed more than 35,000 installations in the Netherlands alone.

Dr. Despina Chatzikyriakou, Head of Charging and Energy Solutions at ZEEKR Europe, said: “Simple, effortless charging on the road, at work and – importantly – at home, is the cornerstone of our ZEEKR Power offering. We are excited about partnering with 50five as we have a shared focus on the customer and a shared purpose: ensuring that our customers in the Netherlands have a great home charging experience.”

“We are delighted to collaborate with ZEEKR and deliver simple, reliable home charging services to its customers throughout the Netherlands. We recognize that exceptional electric vehicles warrant a charging experience to match, and it is our mission to deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the process, from the initial survey and installation, through to maintenance and service.” said Egbert Hietberg, CCO 50five BV NL.

The ZEEKR Power home charging package includes a 22 kW AC wallbox from Zaptec – one of the most compact in the market.

The ZEEKR 001 luxury shooting brake’s powerful 22KW AC on-board charger can fully replenish its 100kWh battery from 0-100% in only five and a half hours. With a 69kWh battery, and also equipped with a 22kW on-board charger, the ZEEKR X compact urban luxury SUV can be fully charged from empty in only four hours.
