Updated Mercedes-Benz EQA and EQB get improved standard equipment at similar pricing

With a fresh look, several efficiency updates and useful equipment, the EQA and EQB are now even more attractive for newcomers and owners of other brands. Clients can now order the updated versions. They will arrive at European dealers in early 2024. Prices start at 50,777.30 euros for the EQA 250 and 53,514.30 euros for the EQB 250+.

The PROGRESSIVE equipment line is standard, with Electric Art and AMG Line available as alternatives. The most popular equipment options are bundled into the Advanced, Advanced Plus and Premium packages, with additional options to choose from. Customers can individually configure and design vehicle features such as colours, upholstery, trim and wheels. For the five-seater EQB, a trailer hitch with ESP trailer stabilisation is optionally available for the first time for 952 euros.

New interior features include the current-generation steering wheel with touch control buttons as well as Mercedes‑Benz pattern trim (standard with PROGRESSIVE), brown lime open-pore wood (optional with PROGRESSIVE) and a Mercedes-Benz backlit pattern (standard with Electric Art and AMG Line).

The already extensive standard equipment included with the PROGRESSIVE Line has been further supplemented with ambient lighting and the EASY-PACK tailgate while the central display and USB Package are now standard in both EQA and EQB. A fully digital instrument cluster is standard in the Advanced Package and above. The appearance of the displays can be customised with three display styles (discreet; sporty; classic) and three modes (navigation; assistance; service).

The Burmester surround sound system (standard with the Premium Package) now features an immersive Dolby Atmos audio experience as part of the current MBUX generation, giving music more space, clarity and depth and adapting to the playback environment. Sound Experiences are also available in conjunction with the Burmester surround sound system, allowing the same individualised acoustic configuration available in the larger all-electric Mercedes-Benz models.

Digital extras and customisation via the Mercedes me Store

Many digital extras are included with the purchase of a new EQA or EQB for up to 36 months. These include entertainment options, digital keys, advanced charging solutions, remote functions and navigation services. With remote services, Mercedes drivers can locate their vehicle and operate functions remotely. With Mercedes me Charge, electricity can be obtained at over 500,000 public charging points with price transparency and the option of charging at attractive fixed prices. In addition, the basic charge for the Mercedes me Charge “L” multi-charger tariff is waived in the first year. Charging costs are automatically debited at the end of the month. Navigation with Electric Intelligence automatically integrates charging stops into the route guidance.

The EQA and EQB can also activate additional vehicle functions via Over-the-Air (OTA) technology after purchase according to personal preferences, including Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Traffic Sign Assist and enhanced smartphone integration. The OTA functions are available in the Mercedes me Store as one-off purchase options or by subscription, and the offerings are continuously being expanded.

The Individualisation Package (standard from the Advanced Package) for Mercedes me connect services also introduces mini games such as Sudoku, Shuffle Puck, Pairs, Match 3 and a quiz. These games have been specially developed for the touchscreens and the touch control buttons on the steering wheel. In combination with the Burmester surround sound system, two additional Sound Experiences are included in the Individualisation Package.
