
The Swedish plug-in electric vehicle market grew 66% in November, having registered 1.297 units last month. Year-to-date, the registrations are up 80% to 11.913 units, making this one of the hottest plug-in electric vehicle market in Europe, with the market share above 3,5%.
The Volkswagen Passat GTE has been the Best Selling model since February and November was no exception, with 295 units, followed by the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (280 registrations, year best) and the Volvo V60 PHEV (121 units).
The Year-to-date podium has the same characters in the same positions, with the Passat GTE in #1 (3.654 units), followed from a far by the Outlander PHEV (1.556) and the Volvo V60 PHEV (1.102).
Worthy mention for the all-electric version of the BMW i3, which registered 67 units last month, or three times as much as the Range Extended version did in the same period.
Looking at other Alternative Fuels, CNG had 412 registrations in November, pulling the year tally to 3.597 units, while last month there was one Hyundai ix35 fuel-cell delivered, with Fuel Cells Year-to-date now counting 16 units, with 14 belonging to the Hyundai model and only 2 for the Toyota Mirai.
