
The Swedish plug-in electric vehicle car market is up 67% in October, having registered 1.209 units last month.
Year-to-date, the registrations are up 82% to 10.616 units, making it the first time this market reached 10.000 units in one year.
As usual, the Volkswagen Passat GTE was the driving force, with 474 units (new personal best), followed at a distance by the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (182 registrations) and the Nissan Leaf (78 units, best result in six months).
In the Year-to-date ranking, Passat GTE is solid in #1 (3.359 units), followed from a far by the Outlander PHEV (1.276) and the Volvo V60 PHEV (981).
A final mention for the five Hyundai ix35 FCEV registered last month, this was a record month for Fuel Cells in Sweden, elevating the total tally to 15 units registered this year, 13 belonging to Hyundai and two to the Toyota Mirai.
