VeriFacts Automotive, LLC announced that Tesla Motors and Elon Musk won the Disruptive Innovation Award at the 2015 Collision Industry Conference (CIC) held in conjunction with the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA).
It is a distinguished honor bestowed to an organization for their leadership in re-writing the future of the automotive collision repair industry.
“As the Automotive Industry and specifically the Collision Repair space continues to evolve and change at an increasing pace, there are organizations and leaders of those organizations that are facilitating disruptive business models,” says Gregory Gray, Vice President of Sales and Operations for VeriFacts. “A Disruptive Innovator is best described as a trailblazer, a leader or company that is willing to suspend traditional business practices for innovative and beyond leading-edge thinking. They actually break paradigms by approaching the business and ultimate solutions from totally new directions. They are, as Salim Ismail, Singularity University defines, Exponential Organizations – ‘a new breed of company that leverages innovative organizational techniques and exponential technologies to vastly accelerate growth, scalability, and competitive position.’”
The award was received by Omar Rivera, Director Global Service Operations, and Andy MacDonald, Tesla Body Repair Program Manager. Mark Olson, VeriFacts COO, and Gregory Gray, VP VeriFacts, presented the award.
