Secure Parking and Tesla Motors have revealed an alliance to launch 18 destination charge points in Secure Parking car parks all through the east coast of Australia.
The destination charge points, two units at each of nine locations, will be available in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
These come at no additional cost to those using the car parks. While they are not Tesla Superchargers, the high-powered wall chargers are capable of comprising around 100 km (62 miles) of range per hour of charging, but that can vary contingent on the car park’s electricity load.
Secure Parking presently operates over 450 car parks all through the nation, comprising in Perth, Adelaide and Hobart where Tesla presently does not have any charging options accessible.
