
All major automakers are posting July sales numbers for plug-in electric vehicles.
Nissan LEAF had its second lowest result of the year, while GM’s Chevrolet Volt had its second-highest month this year with 1,313 sales in July.

![]() | Nissan LEAF Sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF totaled 1,174 units, down 61% compared to July of 2014 when Nissan sold 3,019 LEAF EV’s. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Nissan LEAF now stand at 10,990, which is down by 30% compared with 2014 when 15,755 were sold. Total U.S. Leaf sales are now 83,312. |

In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Prius Plug-in Hybrid now stand at 3,474. Production of the current generation of Prius PHV ends next month. The next generation Prius PHV will come in the second half of 2016 as a 2017 model car. |
