Evatran Extends Warranty of PLUGLESS Wireless EV Charging Systems

With more than 200,000 successful hours of wireless EV charging logged at homes and businesses across the USA and Canada, Evatran Group, Inc. announced that it has extended its standard product warranty for its PLUGLESS wireless charging product line.

PLUGLESS systems now carry a standard, comprehensive warranty policy for three years from the date of shipment.   This product warranty extension is not only offered to future customers, but is also retroactive for all customers who have purchased the PLUGLESS charging system since general public sales began in early 2014.

“We’ve heard our customers tell us that what they appreciate most in the market is a reliable EV charging system – wireless or corded,” commented Rebecca Hough, Evatran CEO and Co-Founder. “We’ve always offered a 100% satisfaction guarantee to our customers, and we’ve designed our product to the strictest durability and safety testing available in the market. So we’re making it official for all of our customers and retroactively extending our current one-year warranty to a standard three-year warranty on all of our products. I believe PLUGLESS is not only the most innovative and convenient charging system on the market but also the most dependable.”

Evatran also formally announced a 45 Day Any-Reason Return Policy.  If for any reason within 45 days of the receipt of a PLUGLESS system, a customer decides PLUGLESS is not right for them, the system can be returned for a full refund, including refund of the cost of shipping both ways.

Ms. Hough added, “PLUGLESS Wireless EV charging has proven successful at homes and businesses for several years now.  We are happy to take any perceived risk to trying PLUGLESS off our customers’ shoulders and put it on ours.  What’s been seen consistently is that when someone tries PLUGLESS, they keep it.”

The PLUGLESS L2 offers the ultimate in convenience and simplicity for today’s electric vehicle driver. Completely eliminating the plug-in process, the PLUGLESS system ensures the EV owner is getting the maximum electric range out of his electric vehicle by ensuring that every time he parks, he’s charging. The system charges as quickly as conventional corded systems and all vehicle features, such as charge-timers and phone applications, can be used seamlessly with the PLUGLESS system. The system also has the industry’s only safety certification from Electronic Testing Laboratories (ETL).

After two years of field trials with partners such as Google, Hertz, and Duke Energy, the PLUGLESS System was made available to individual Nissan LEAF and Chevrolet Volt owners in early 2014.
