Electrify America has opened its largest EV charging station to date in Orlando, Florida, bringing 24 fast chargers to a busy corridor serving local drivers, airport travelers and visitors to the city’s major theme parks.
Located at the Sand Lake Corners South shopping center, the new station features 24 CCS chargers capable of delivering up to 350 kW each. The opening expands charging capacity in a state that, according to Electrify America, ranked second only to California for registered electric vehicles in 2025.
The new charging hub offers convenient access to Interstate 4, Orlando International Airport, Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Its location makes it a useful stop for both everyday driving and longer journeys through Central Florida.
Nearby shopping and dining options give drivers somewhere to spend their charging stop, while the station’s 24-charger layout allows more vehicles to plug in at the same time.
Each charger supports speeds of up to 350 kW, although actual charging power depends on the vehicle’s capabilities, battery temperature and state of charge.
The Orlando station currently offers CCS connectors only. Electrify America’s separate rollout of NACS connectors at selected locations does not extend to this site at opening.
Electrify America says it already operates more than 350 chargers across over 60 stations in Florida. Another Orlando location with 10 chargers is planned to open in the coming months, further expanding the company’s presence in the area.
Anthony Lambkin, Electrify America’s vice president of Operations, said the opening reflects the company’s commitment to expanding convenient, reliable fast charging as Florida’s EV community grows.
For drivers, the new station adds a substantial charging stop near some of Orlando’s busiest destinations. Its scale should also help accommodate periods of heavier demand, although availability will depend on usage.
The Orlando opening follows Electrify America’s development of other large charging locations. In Santa Barbara, California, the company opened a 20-bay station equipped with chargers rated at up to 350 kW and a 1.9 MWh battery energy storage system.
Electrify America also reported surpassing 5,600 chargers across North America in 2025, when drivers completed more than 20 million charging sessions on its network.
Alongside adding charging capacity, the company has announced an expanded NACS pilot at selected high-traffic stations. That effort broadens connector options across parts of the network, while the new Orlando hub adds 24 CCS charging points in one of Florida’s key travel markets.
