Hyundai IONIQ 3 Now Available to Order in the UK From £18,495

The all-new Hyundai IONIQ 3 compact electric car is now available to order in the UK, with prices starting at just £18,495 after the £3,750 Electric Car Grant.

Available with 42kWh and 61kWh battery options, the new IONIQ 3 combines a distinctive Aero Hatch design with fast charging, advanced technology and up to 308 miles of driving range.

The IONIQ 3 also becomes the second Hyundai model eligible for the full UK Electric Car Grant, joining the KONA Electric.

Hyundai IONIQ 3 UK Price and Trim Levels

With the £3,750 Electric Car Grant applied, the Hyundai IONIQ 3 range starts at:

– IONIQ 3 Advance 42kWh: £18,495 OTR
– IONIQ 3 Advance 61kWh: £21,995 OTR
– IONIQ 3 N Line Evo: £28,195 OTR

The new pricing makes the IONIQ 3 one of the more affordable new electric cars available in the UK, particularly in its entry-level 42kWh configuration.

Customers who previously reserved an IONIQ 3 can now convert their reservation into a full order and benefit from the £3,750 Electric Car Grant instead of the previous £1,500 Hyundai Reservation Saving.

Hyundai is also offering the IONIQ 3 through its finance program. The Advance 61kWh is available from £355 per month, with a £355 customer deposit over 48 months at 8.9% APR representative.

Up to 308 Miles of Range

The Hyundai IONIQ 3 is a five-seat compact electric car designed specifically with European buyers in mind. Its Aero Hatch body combines a relatively compact footprint with aerodynamic styling, resulting in a 0.263 drag coefficient.

The 61kWh version delivers up to 308 miles of range, giving the IONIQ 3 the potential to compete with significantly larger electric vehicles on long-distance usability.

A 441-litre boot also provides practical cargo space for everyday driving, while the five-seat cabin makes the IONIQ 3 suitable for family use.

Rapid DC charging is another key feature, helping reduce charging stops during longer journeys.

New Technology for the IONIQ 3

The IONIQ 3 introduces Hyundai’s latest technology to the compact EV segment. It is the first Hyundai model developed for Europe to feature the company’s new Pleos Connect infotainment system, which is based on Android Automotive OS.

Hyundai SmartSense driver assistance technology is fitted as standard, adding a broad range of safety and driver-assistance features across the lineup.

Higher-specification versions add even more technology. The IONIQ 3 Ultimate includes Matrix LED headlights, Highway Driving Assist 2, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

At the top of the range, the IONIQ 3 N Line Evo brings a sportier appearance with N Line exterior styling and 19-inch alloy wheels. It also features a large 14.6-inch infotainment display, Surround View Monitor, Blind View Monitor and Memory Reverse Assist.

A New Compact EV for the UK Market

The Hyundai IONIQ 3 enters an increasingly competitive UK electric car market with a combination of affordable pricing, long-range capability and modern technology.

With the £3,750 Electric Car Grant, the entry-level IONIQ 3 starts below £20,000, while the 61kWh model offers up to 308 miles of range for £21,995 after the grant.

That combination puts the new Hyundai firmly into the conversation for buyers looking for an affordable new electric car without giving up long-range capability or the latest EV technology.
