BYD has officially confirmed UK pricing and specifications for the all-new Ti 7, introducing its first seven-seat SUV to the British market. Priced from £47,995, the new model also marks another milestone for the brand by becoming the first vehicle in the UK lineup to feature BYD’s DM-p (Dual Mode Performance) plug-in hybrid powertrain.

BYD’s First UK Model With DM-p Super Hybrid Technology
The biggest highlight of the Ti 7 is its advanced DM-p Super Hybrid system. Unlike conventional plug-in hybrids, the powertrain combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with three electric motors, including one driving the front axle and another powering the rear.
The combined output reaches 408PS, enabling the large SUV to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 4.8 seconds while reaching a top speed of 118mph.
Performance is balanced by impressive efficiency. Much of the time, the petrol engine acts as a generator, supplying energy to BYD’s 35.6kWh Blade Battery, allowing the vehicle to deliver smooth electric driving while extending overall range. On battery power alone, the Ti 7 can travel up to 74 miles, making many daily journeys possible without using fuel.

The Ti 7 will be offered in the UK exclusively in Excellence AWD trim, arriving with an extensive list of standard equipment.
