Polestar starts sales in France

Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car brand, continues its market expansion by starting sales in France.

The Swedish EV brand’s full model line-up: Polestar 2, Polestar 3 and Polestar 4, are now available to order. The expansion into France reaffirms Polestar’s global positioning as the 28th market across four continents.

Michael Lohscheller, Polestar CEO says: “We are very excited to bring our portfolio of performance EVs to France, one of Europe’s fastest growing EV markets.  Our cars are already receiving fantastic media reviews in France, and we look forward to seeing more and more Polestars on French roads during the second half of the year.”

Polestar’s expansion in France will include both direct-to-consumer sales via the Polestar website, as well as through several retail sites across the country, relying on selected retail partners from the Volvo Cars network. The first is set to open in the world-renowned racing village of Le Mans in July, followed by up to ten key cities during the second half of the year. A nationwide service network of more than 100 service points across France is available to Polestar customers from the start.

Stephane Le Guevel, Managing Director of Polestar France says: “We have an ambitious expansion plan in France, with an ambition to open up to ten sales points already in 2025 and accelerating even further in 2026. The Polestar brand is a perfect fit for France with a strong focus on performance, design and sustainability.
