NIO, Zeekr, Li Auto Report EV Sales Results For January 2025

Chinese premium electric vehicle makers, NIO, Zeekr and Li Auto announced their electric vehicle delivery numbers for the month of January.

NIO delivered 13,863 vehicles in January 2025, representing an increase of 37.9% year-over-year. The deliveries consisted of 7,951 vehicles from the company’s premium smart electric vehicle brand NIO, and 5,912 vehicles from the company,s family-oriented smart electric vehicle brand ONVO. Cumulative deliveries reached 685,427 as of January 31, 2025.

Meanwhile, Zeekr delivered 11,942 vehicles in January 2025. As of the end of January 2025, Zeekr’s cumulative deliveries reached 430,698.

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Zeekr announced various key advancements spanning strategy, technology, and product offerings. Highlights included a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to spearhead innovation in intelligent cockpit development. This partnership underscores Zeekr’s dedication to providing cutting-edge driving experiences. Zeekr also introduced the world’s first OEM-produced, self-developed intelligent driving domain controller based on NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor, a testament to the Company’s commitment to autonomous driving technology. Further solidifying its position in the EV charging infrastructure, Zeekr announced the rollout of Zeekr Energy’s overseas 800V ultra-fast charging network. Finally, Zeekr generated excitement for the future mobility with the announcement of Zeekr RT, the world-first mass-produced purpose-built vehicle for autonomous mobility with deliveries slated to begin in 2025.

Li Auto delivered 29,927 vehicles in January 2025. As of January 31, 2025, Li Auto’s cumulative deliveries reached 1,163,799.

Li L6 surpassed the 200,000 cumulative delivery milestone in January 2025. Li Auto sustained its leadership as the sales champion of Chinese automotive brand in the passenger vehicle market priced at RMB200,000 and above, with Li L6 maintaining its position as the best-selling extended-range electric vehicle model in China for seven consecutive months. In January, the company released OTA update version 7.0, introducing the new Li AD Max V13.0, to provide users with enhanced autonomous driving experience.

As of January 31, 2025, the company had 500 retail stores in 150 cities, 486 servicing centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops operating in 225 cities. The company also had 1,845 super charging stations in operation equipped with 9,820 charging stalls in China.
