Electrify Canada announced a new pricing structure designed to provide electric vehicle owners with consistent and transparent rates across its national fast-charging network.
Starting on Monday, October 5, 2020, Electrify Canada customers will now experience even more competitive rates and savings in most instances under the network’s streamlined per minute pricing plan.
Two Power Level Prices and No Session Fees
Electrify Canada’s simplified pricing structure bills customers for the time spent charging based on two power levels, from 1-90 kW and 1-350 kW, down from the previous three power levels. The company has also eliminated all session fees and reduced rates for higher-kilowatt charging.
Under the new two-level system, for EVs capable of charging up to 90kW, DC fast charging prices continue to start as low as $0.21 per minute with Electrify Canada’s Pass+ membership. For vehicles in the second power level, from 1-350kW, drivers will experience a price reduction of over 50 percent from the previous plan with rates beginning as low as $0.44 per minute.

The simplest way to access these new competitive prices is by downloading the Electrify Canada mobile app. The app makes charging with Electrify Canada even easier – helping EV drivers find a charging station, identify the number of chargers currently available, begin a charging session and track its progress.
Outside of new prices, customers will enjoy the same premium charging experience as the network continues to expand. Electrify Canada is currently installing 32 charging station sites with 128 chargers in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec.
