Alpine Breaks Sales Records as Electric Models Power Global Expansion

As part of its ambitious international expansion strategy and rapidly evolving product roadmap, Alpine delivered exceptional global growth in 2025, underlining the brand’s successful transition toward an electrified future.

Worldwide sales surged by 139.2% year-on-year, reaching 10,970 vehicles, up from 4,587 in 2024. For the first time in its history, Alpine surpassed the symbolic 10,000-unit milestone, driven by new electric models, expanding markets, and a growing customer base.

Alpine continued to strengthen its footprint across Europe, posting impressive growth in every European market. Key regions recorded standout performances, including France (+89.5%), the UK (+369.5%), and Germany (+133.5%), highlighting the brand’s rising appeal in the premium performance segment as it embraces electrification.

Despite nearing the end of its production lifecycle, the iconic Alpine A110 continued to deliver strong results in 2025, with 2,681 units sold. More than 61% of customers opted for high-spec versions such as the GTS or above, while the extreme-performance A110 R and A110 R 70 accounted for 22.7% of total A110 sales.

Nearly 81% of A110 sales came from Alpine’s core markets — France, Germany, the UK, and Japan — a remarkable achievement for a model now in its final months after more than eight years on the market. Alpine once again confirmed its leadership in the two-seater sports coupé segment, securing a 44% market share in Europe and the number-one position in countries including France, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, and Poland.

Electric Performance Takes Center Stage: A290 and A390

The real growth engine in 2025, however, was Alpine’s electric lineup. Introduced in 2024, the Alpine A290, the brand’s first fully electric hot hatch, enjoyed a spectacular debut year. Crowned 2025 Car of the Year and already decorated with multiple awards, the A290 accounted for 75% of Alpine’s total sales, with 8,198 units delivered.

Looking ahead, Alpine is preparing to broaden its electric performance portfolio with the Alpine A390, launched at the end of 2025. As the brand’s first electric sport fastback, the A390 plays a key role in Alpine’s “Dream Garage” strategy, designed to attract new customers and accelerate global expansion. In the UK, the A390 will be priced from £61,390, with order books opening later this year.

Expanding the Global Electric Brand

In 2025, Alpine significantly accelerated its international retail expansion, opening 15 new points of sale and bringing the network to 169 Alpine Stores and Atelier Alpine locations across 25 countries.

The momentum will continue into 2026, with plans to surpass 200 global sales points by year-end. Following the openings of Atelier Alpine locations in Barcelona (2024) and Paris (2025), two additional flagship Atelier Alpine sites are scheduled to open in 2026, further reinforcing the brand’s premium electric identity.

“2025 marks a historic milestone for Alpine, as we surpass 10,000 registrations and achieve triple-digit growth. We succeeded in the launch of the A290, welcoming new customers to the brand, while our iconic A110 continues to perform and inspire enthusiasts across Europe.

With the brand new A390, joining the line-up, we will continue our strategy driven by innovation, electrification, and our unwavering commitment to performance and driving pleasure across Europe and beyond.”
Philippe Krief, CEO of the Alpine brand
