GM Launches Wuling Hong Guang MINIEV Four-Door in China

SAIC-GM-Wuling has launched the Hong Guang MINIEV Four-Door version. Three variants are priced between RMB 44,800 and RMB 50,800 (€5,870 and €6,660), giving consumers a new choice for urban mobility in the era of electrification.

Since its debut in 2020, the Hong Guang MINIEV family has been recognized by 1.5 million users for its unique styling and convenience. The newest family member offers even more of both, with two rear doors as well as a longer wheelbase.

The Hong Guang MINIEV Four-Door has a cute exterior and interior, and added color options. The four-seat design optimizes space. Its trunk capacity of 123 liters expands to 745 liters with the rear seats folded down.

The user-friendly range is 205 km and the power consumption is only 8.9 kWh/100 km. Three charging methods are available: DC fast charging, AC slow charging, and household power on-board charging. The standard DC fast charging function can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in 35 minutes.

The Hong Guang MINIEV Four-Door incorporates an extensive range of active and passive safety features. They include driver and passenger air bags, the class-leading Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system, the class-unique Autohold system and an electronic parking brake, a high-definition reversing camera, and Wuling’s proven Shenlian battery with zero spontaneous combustion. The ring-shaped cage body is made of 67% high-strength steel.

Wuling has received 20,000 orders for the Hong Guang MINIEV Four-Door since reservations kicked off in mid-December.
