Chinese biggest EV maker BYD is showcasing a stellar lineup of pure-electric commercial vans and trucks at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, Germany.

This prestigious event for the European logistics and commercial transportation sector, hosts the global premiere of the BYD E-VALI, an inspiring new 3.5t/4.25t light commercial vehicle (LCV) taking centre-stage on the BYD exhibition stand. Another new entry in Europe is the BYD EYT 2.0, a pure-electric Yard Tractor. This purpose-built vehicle for ports, terminals and distribution, makes its European launch alongside other headline products being exhibited by BYD in the commercial area of the event, including the BYD ETM6 and ETH8.

All BYD vehicles on display are designed for the specific needs and preferences of the European market with BYD’s pioneering innovation in safe, efficient, and intelligent EV technologies for sustainable commercial transportation creating the overarching theme. BYD, with 29 years’ expertise in power battery innovation, is the only NEV producer to have developed its own powertrain systems, power batteries, automotive semiconductors, motors and motor controller systems. BYD has developed a highly integrated e-Platform specifically for pure-electric trucks, optimising performance and efficiency, while also reducing maintenance time, effort and costs.
