Eli Electric, creating the next generation of Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEV) to empower sustainable driver engagement within our communities, today announced it is now accepting pre-orders for its debut NEV model, the Eli ZERO, on Indiegogo.
With a beginning MSRP at $10,900, for a small refundable deposit, consumers can pre-order their very own Eli ZERO via Indiegogo at a discounted price as low as $7,899 from today through May 18. A select number of backers can lay claim to one of the first 10 production units produced plus lock-in the lowest possible price by making a fully refundable deposit of $7,699. Delivery to U.S. pre-order customers is expected to begin in January 2019.
With a top speed of 25mph, Eli ZERO is street-legal and meets all requirements for the NEV category, a federally designed class of roadway passenger vehicles that can travel on roads with a speed limit of 35mph or less in both the United States and Europe. The Eli ZERO is the company’s debut model in its pursuit of moving the world toward a new era of efficient, sustainable and community-conscious transportation.

Lincoln, Calif., a pioneer in NEV transportation, implemented city-wide NEV routes to encourage the city’s changing urban lifestyle. Many cities have popular and pre-existing “NEV Neighborhoods,” including Peachtree City, Ga.; Rancho Mission Viejo, Calif.; and The Villages, Florida.
