
The German plug-in electric car market registered 3,546 registrations, up 132% Year-on-Year, pulling the market share to over 1.2%.
The Audi A3 e-Tron was the leader in April, with 380 units, followed by another plug-in hybrid model, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (294 units), with the Renault Zoe closing the podium with 280 registrations.
The Year-to-date podium has the Renault Zoe as leader, with 1,478 units, followed by the BMW i3 with 1,448 units, while the Audi A3 e-Tron PHEV climbed to third, with 1,154 sales, followed by Mitsubishi Outlander with 1,098.
In the manufacturers ranking, BMW (24%, down 1%) is on the lead, followed by Mercedes (12%, up 1%), Volkswagen and Renault (Both at 11%). With Audi in a close Fifth (10%), expect soon the Top 4 places to belong to local brands.
