The German plug-in car market registered 2,918 registrations, up 49% Year-on-Year, pulling the market share to a record 1.2%.
The Renault Zoe was the leader in February, with 431 units, its best result in over a year, followed by the BMW i3 with 305 units.
Two models took third place, the Kia Soul EV and the BMW 225xe Active Tourer, both with 282 registrations, with the German model performing its best result to date, no doubt helped by the recent incentive subsidy.
The year-to-date podium has the same players of last month best sellers, with the leader being the BMW i3 with 693 units (both electric and REx versions) followed by the Renault Zoe with 611 units, almost doubling the result it had in the same period of 2016, the BMW 225xe Active Tourer, with 492 sales and the Kia Soul EV, with 459.
In the manufacturers ranking, BMW (25%, up 3%) is in the lead, followed by Volkswagen and Mercedes, both with 10% share.
