Fastned To Offer Unlimited Fast Charging With Every New Nissan LEAF

Fastned has joined forces with Nissan to offer two years of free unlimited fast charging with each new Nissan LEAF.

The new LEAF will be available starting January with a 30 kWh battery. The larger range of 250 km, together with unlimited fast charging give the electric driver freedom throughout The Netherlands.

Fastned builds a national network of fast charging stations on premium locations along the highway. Currently 38 stations are operational and Fastned is building a new station every week.

At the end of this year the Fastned network will count 50 fast charging stations. Fast charging at Fastned is available for virtually all electric cars and takes about 20 minutes.

Michiel Langezaal, CEO: “In fact, it’s quite logical to offer unlimited fast charging with electric cars. Most people buy mobile phones including a subscription. The same is true for electric driving, people just want to be able to charge quickly and easily without fuss. That’s what we offer with this partnership.”

The new Nissan LEAF with larger range is now on sale. The ‘EV carefree package’ comes standard with every LEAF and now includes 2 years of unlimited fast charging at all Fastned stations. Besides fast charging, this package offers a replacement vehicle for holidays, a service package and a home charging system. This is great news for everyone who considers to switch to an electric car.
