Alpine has dropped a teaser for their upcoming A390_β concept, which will debut at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. The show car previews the brand’s new “electric sport fastback” model, the A390, set to launch in 2025.
While previous teasers suggested a more SUV-like design, Alpine has clarified that the A390 is not an SUV. The new model will expand the brand’s offerings beyond the two-seater coupe segment.
The A390’s nomenclature follows the same pattern as the A290: the first digit indicates size, and “90” signifies a versatile, everyday-use vehicle. Although details are scarce, we know the A390 will feature a distinctive front light signature and a sleek profile.
Under the hood, the A390 is likely to share its platform with the Renault Scenic E-Tech and Nissan Ariya, but with Alpine-specific engineering tweaks, similar to the A290’s modifications.
Alpine will also present the Alpenglow Hy6, the latest version of its hydrogen-powered prototype, the A290, and new examples of A110 customisations.
