BMW has released new teaser images and video of the third member of the BMW i family – the all-new BMW i8 Roadster.
“BMW i is looking forward to welcoming the third member of the BMW i family. In 2018 the BMW i8 Roadster will unlock the door to a whole new dimension in pioneering open-top driving pleasure – virtually silent and with zero local emissions,” said MBW in a press release.
The BMW i8 Roadster will offer combined fuel economy of 2.0l/100 km (117.6 mpg US or 141.2 mpg UK), combined electricity consumption of 15.4 kWh/100 km (18.6 kWh/100 miles) and combined CO2 emissions of 46 g/km. All figures are preliminary.
