All major automakers are posting July sales numbers for plug-in electric vehicles.
Nissan LEAF had its second lowest result of the year, while GM’s Chevrolet Volt had its second-highest month this year with 1,313 sales in July.

Sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF totaled 1,174 units, down 61% compared to July of 2014 when Nissan sold 3,019 LEAF EV’s. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Nissan LEAF now stand at 10,990, which is down by 30% compared with 2014 when 15,755 were sold. Total U.S. Leaf sales are now 83,312.
Chevrolet Volt sold 1,313 units last month, off 31% compared to June of 2014 when 2,020 were sold. Overall for the year, 6,935 Chevrolet Volt plug-ins have been sold. Total U.S. Volt deliveries are now 80,292.

Prius Plug-in Hybrid sold 584 units. Previously in June, Toyota sold a year high 464 Prius PHV units. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Prius Plug-in Hybrid now stand at 3,474. Production of the current generation of Prius PHV ends next month. The next generation Prius PHV will come in the second half of 2016 as a 2017 model car.

Ford C-MAX Energi sold 693 units in July. Previously in June, Ford sold 667 plug-ins. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Ford C-Max Energi now stand at 4,236.
|Ford Fusion Energi |
Ford Fusion Energi finished last month with 852 deliveries, after selling 727 units in June. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Ford Fusion Energi now stand at 4,290.
GM sold 66 Cadillac ELRs last month. Previously in June, Cadillac sold 62 ELRs. In terms of year-to-date results in, sales of the Cadillac ELR now stand at 659. The 2014 Cadillac ELR has a starting price of $75,995, including a $995 destination charge but excluding tax, title, license and dealer fees.

Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrids finished last month with 23 deliveries. Previously in June, Panamera S E-Hybrid sold 34 units. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Panamera S E-Hybrid now stand at 253.

Porsche sold 77 Cayenne S E-Hybrid SUVs last month, after selling 88 units in June. The Cayenne S Hybrid has a lithium-ion traction battery with an energy capacity of 10.8 kWh, which enables an all-electric driving range of 11 to 22 miles, combined fuel consumption is 39 mpg US with 79 g/km of CO2. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Cayenne S E-Hybrid now stand at 567.

Deliveries of the Ford Focus Electric were 135 in July. In June and May, Ford sold 152 and 165 Focus Electrics respectively. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Ford Focus Electric now stand at 946.

BMW i3 sold 935 units last month, after selling just 551 units in June. BMW is now offering a new low cost DC fast charger for $6,548 at authorized BMW partners. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the BMW i3 now stand at 5,391.
|BMW i8 |
BMW i8 sold 217 plug-in hybrid sports cars last month. BMW sold 137 units in June and 117 units in May. Overall for the year, 950 BMW i8 sports cars have been sold. BMW delivered the first plug-in hybrid BMW i8 sport cars at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and auctioned One-of-a-kind BMW i8 Concours d’Elegance Edition for $825,000. The BMW i8 has an MSRP of $135,700
|Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive |
Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive finished last month with 196 deliveries, after selling 242 units in June. The B-Class Electric Drive starts from $41,450 and has an all-electric range of 87 miles. For an extra $600, one can purchase the extended range package which allows the driver go 104 miles. Overall for the year, 1,368 B-Class Electric Drive have been sold.

Volkswagen e-Gold sold record 313 units last month, after selling 293 units in June. Overall for the year, 1,831 VW e-Golf EVs have been sold. The all-electric 2015 Volkswagen e-Golf is on sale at participating dealerships in select states. The e-Golf was rated by the EPA at126 city, 105 highway, and 116 combined MPGe and given a range of up to 83 miles.
|Kia Soul EV |
Kia Soul EV sold 59 units last month, after selling 109 units in June. Overall for the year, 470 Soul EVs have been sold. Offered in two trims, Base and + (Plus), the 2015 Kia Soul EV MSRP is $33,700 (not including federal tax rebate of $7,500) for the Base trim. Overall for the year, 529 Soul EVs have been sold.

Last month, smart fortwo ED sold 109 units last month, after selling 94 units in June. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the smart fortwo ED now stand at 755.
|Fiat 500e |
For June, Fiat 500e sold 485 units. Overall for the year, 3,869 Fiat 500e EVs have been sold. The Fiat 500e is priced at $32,500, which includes a $700 destination charge. However, eligible California residents may be able to purchase the 2013 Fiat 500e for as low as $20,500, after federal credits.

Spark EV sold 57 units, after selling a record 226 units in June. Overall for the year, 1,842 Chevrolet Spark EVs have been sold.

The Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid logged just 1 units last month, off 97.5% compared to June of 2014 when 41 were sold. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Accord Plug-in Hybrid now stand at 60, a 92.9% decrease from 2014 when 211 were sold

Mitsubishi sold 12 i-MiEV electric cars in July, after selling 23 units in June. In terms of year-to-date results in 2015, sales of the Mitsubishi i-MiEV now stand at 84. The 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV will arrive at Mitsubishi dealers across the United States in late March 2015. With a starting MSRP of only $22,995, the 2016 i-MiEV is the most affordably-priced electric vehicle available in America today, and after factoring in the Federal tax credit of $7,500, the net starting MSRP is reduced to $15,495.
